Dead Prez...There are few words that can describe this man.But a few come to mind. Belligerent... Defiant...Portentous. But with the rough life that he's lived, you can't say much about it.
His life has been filled with sorrow,hardship, and disgust.As a young boy, he lived in the shadows of Hell, literally. The father of the house had died at an early age, only 39, and his mother had become a recovering alcoholic. It's not that he had a terrible childhood with severve beatings and drugs, but rather, his life was filled with hard obsticles. But he managed to get through it all, until 9th grade came.
However, the beginning of high school is when he found out his potential and incredible ability to harvest power and to unleash it. When a 17 year old teen pushed him into the corner, the 15 year old 'Prez lashed out, hitting him in the face with his algebra book. Blood spurted everywhere. He then speared him into the lockers, hitting his own head against the metal, creating a small cut. Blood poured out onto his hair and continued to invoke his power struggle. However, a teacher broke it up.
This was his first experience in a fight, and he coulnd't help but love it. He inflicted pain onto someone much larger then him. The kids left him alone after that. Everyone did. He was now known as 'Crazy Kid'.
Indeed, crazy he was. His mom then died at age 43. He was 18 at the time and in college. He quickly dropped out to attend her funeral and to get his act together. North Carolina University quickly dropped all fees, understanding his loss and knowing his background. This sent him into another frenzy.
At age 20, he was jumped in the street by a large white man and his mexican friend. He lost fifty dollars and a credit card. The next day, he saw the same two men. He jumped them and not only got his credit card and money back, but he also recieved a bonus 100 dollar bonus.
At the young age of 24, he was recruited into the Global Wrestling Alliance by long-time-friend Bret Hart and Chris Jericho. The brought him into The Holy Alliance, their own stable, and showed him the ropes.
In the tender age of 25, he went up against the likes of Dark Mark X, Chris Jericho, and Chris Caine.
His pathes in life have been different, but he's obviously taken the right ones. Being once a GWA World Heavyweight Champion, he knows that it's his duty to stay in the ropes of this federation...And that is what he will do.
